Last week, I twice had the pleasure of seeing 40th Street Stage's premier production, 100.
This wasn't just theatre in the round, it was theatre in a bubble. The script was intriguing, the actors were solid, but what really blew me away was the space. This funny little room, filled with chairs in a circle, lit by utilitarian work lights became the waiting room to Eternity, and I felt, both times that we, the audience, were the next group.
Can't wait for the next one.
