My heart sank

We don't have an occupancy permit. Talk about a hotel for the weekend, or setting up the beds and taking them up again so as not to be caught in violation of the code. In other words a lot of gyration because someone can't schedule properly.

The day for joyous packing turned into a stupifing waste of time. Again.

This will be over, sooner or later.

I broke another tooth at dinner.

Life goes on.

Youngblood's surgery

After the fourth dislocation since January (We reduced it ourselves this time. No big drugs, 2 hours, a hot shower and a sleep in his own bed. Much better) we scheduled Youngblood's surgery for Friday.

Wind at our backs, we'll bring him home from the hospital to our homeplace complete with beds, cable TV and a really sweet kitchen. We'll have our furniture that made it thru, the art, and luck be with us, our silverware.

Happy dance.

Yea, Thursday is stay at home day!

Tomorrow, I pack for the final transition, so we can be
ready for the next. It's doable.

It seems a little spooky not to be freaked right now, but
I'm not. I've been moving out of here since October.

All I need is a place to put it.

Tomorrow will be a joy.

Look Ma, No Porta Pottie.

Magic.

It's the first house on the left, you can't miss it. It's the one with the porta pottie in the front yard.

Light at the end of the tunnel.

Well, 2 weeks ago we got power, today we did a 110 point preliminary punch list and everyone's just a little touchy. The end is in sight.

So, as we all know, change begins with an ending. And you know how I love change. So.
Tomorrow, a big woohoo for us, and a bon voyage, please.

Tomorrow will be our last Salon for a while.

To keep in touch during the transition, I'll be launching Living on the Edge, the Newsletter. Details on the call. Get the number here:
